We designed Ergon Desk to improve the working conditions and lives of regular laptop users. The desk is height adjustable allowing you to achieve your ideal posture, standing or seated.

Ergon Desk is lightweight, easy to set up and put down, transportable, and built to provide a working experience that is both comfortable and boosts your productivity. It is suitable for any laptop and monitor.

SUITABLE FOR ANY TYPE OF LAPTOP OR SMALL MONITOR

Ergon Desk was specially designed for supporting only laptops with screens of up to 15″ on the upper shelf and can support a total weight of up to 5kg.

MEASUREMENT

Ergon Desk has a base footprint of 47x47cm. The upper laptop shelf is 40 x 23cm, and the lower platform for the keyboard is 60x23cm. The rungs in the upright allow you to adjust the height of your monitor and your keyboard to your exact height.

MATERIAL

Ergon is made out of solid and high quality 18mm birch plywood, designed and crafted in our Istanbul workshop.

ASSEMBLING

This portable desk arrives as a flat pack kit and takes only 30 seconds to assemble! The easiest DIY you’ll ever do, you will only need to screw in the 2 holders that come separately in the package to the undersurface of the shelves. The holders on the shelves will allow you to pack it up back down in no time for easy storage and portability.

Please note that placing the holder is not mandatory since they only serve the purpose of holding the shelves if you want to fold the standing desk.

why does my standing desk need tension cable?

Our standing desks operate with a cantilever mechanism allowing them to offer incredible load bearing abilities along the whole structure so you can place your screen or laptop with full confidence. Steel suspension cable and pins balance the hourglass form of the stand and contrast beautifully with the organic wood frame and they do this by reinforcing the weight distribution along its centre of gravity.

After purchasing, how long does it take to receive my new standing desk?

Once you place your order, your new Ergon life standing desk or laptop stand will take 2-4 working days to arrive. We know you’d love to track your Ergonlife product’s journey, we will send you the tracking number as soon as we despatch it.

What’s the return and refund policy?

If for whatever reason you aren’t entirely happy with your purchase, you can return your item/s within 30 days of delivery, for a full refund of the original payment. Once we have received the product and packaging, a refund will be credited to the payment card or account you paid with within two weeks.

How to adjust my desk and screen?

Correct desk height and computer screen position are fundamental for improving comfort and minimising injury risk in the office. To begin with, set the keyboard shelf at elbow height; your elbows should be at a 90-degree angle. As a guide, the average 5’11” (180 cm) person would place their keyboard shelf at 44 inches (111 cm) high. As a general recommendation, you may want to position your screen 20–28 inches (51–71 cm) from your face. Try to ensure that the screen is at your eye level in order to avoid tilting your head down.

Ergon Life products may have some imperfections, why is this?

We mainly use natural materials like wood, and we celebrate its small natural imperfections. Wood is warm and its perfectly imperfect characteristics resonate with our brand, as opposed to pieces that are mass-produced from plastic, metals or glass. Ergon Life pay special attention to detail with regards to our products’ longevity and have to pass a very strict quality control regarding materials and functionality.

How do i care for my ergon life standing desk?

Scuffs, scratches, marks or blemishes: If wiping away with a dry cloth doesn’t help, fine grain sandpaper should do the trick. Spilt coffee: Coffee could stain the natural plywood of your standing desk. Hence, in the event you do spill liquids over your standing desk; remove all excess liquid immediately and try light sanding. To prevent any staining, apply a clear protective varnish.
